Contrabando opens with the dry and earthy notes of Orris that collide with the scent of impending desert rain. This sense of action is accented with fresh notes of Bergamot Zest and succulent Ocotillo before slowly giving way to the shadowy notes of Cedarwood, Patchouli, and Soft Leather.

Our Inspiration

Somewhere between myth and memory lies Contrabando. Built as a backdrop for many of the Western shows and movies that defined an era, it was never a place anyone called home.

Yet, this old film set in West Texas is as much a ghost town as any other–a fiction that became truth through time and neglect. The fine line between legend and imagination is the inspiration for our fragrance Contrabando.
